RF Direct, LLC ("RF Direct," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit www.rf.direct, create an account, request a quote, place an order, contact us, or otherwise interact with us in connection with our products and services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy applies to information about individuals, including representatives of our business customers, prospective customers, vendors, and website visitors. It does not apply to information governed by a separate notice, such as an employee or job-applicant privacy notice, or to third-party websites and services that maintain their own privacy policies.

Payment-card information may be collected and processed directly by our payment service providers; RF Direct may not receive or retain complete payment-card numbers.

  • Commercial and business information, such as your organization, industry, product interests, project requirements, procurement needs, and sales communications.

  • Communications, including messages, forms, emails, telephone inquiries, customer-service requests, product reviews, survey responses, and other information you choose to provide.

  • Device and internet activity information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, session information, and dates and times of access.

  • Cookie and similar technology information, such as identifiers and activity data collected through cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies.

  • Fraud-prevention and security information, such as account-login activity, authentication records, transaction risk indicators, and information used to protect our customers, systems, and business.

  • Inferences, such as likely product interests or business needs derived from your interactions with us.

We generally do not seek to collect sensitive personal information that is unrelated to a business transaction. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, health information, account passwords for other services, or other unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary website forms or email.

RF Direct does not sell personal information for money. Certain disclosures involving online advertising or analytics may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws even when no money is exchanged. Where those laws apply, you may request to opt out as described in Section 9.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to maintain your account, complete transactions, provide support, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect our business.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature and duration of our relationship with you, legal requirements, operational needs, and applicable limitation periods. When personal information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to lawful exceptions and backup-retention practices.

However, no internet transmission, electronic storage system, or security measure is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

  • Account information: You may review or update certain account information by signing in to your account or contacting us.

  • Marketing emails: You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. We may continue to send nonmarketing messages relating to orders, accounts, transactions, security, support, or our ongoing business relationship.

To submit a request, use our Contact Us page and identify the message as a "Privacy Request." Please describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Verification may require matching information you provide with information already maintained by us. If an authorized agent submits a request for you, we may require proof of the agent's authority and may contact you directly to verify your identity or confirm the request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Some information may be exempt from a request, including information we must retain to complete a transaction, comply with law, detect fraud, protect legal rights, or fulfill another permitted purpose. If we deny a request, in whole or in part, we will provide an explanation when required by law.

California Notice

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to RF Direct's processing of your personal information, the categories described in Section 1 summarize the personal information we may have collected during the preceding 12 months. The sources, business and commercial purposes, and categories of recipients are described in Sections 2, 3, and 5. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. RF Direct does not offer financial incentives for the collection, sale, or deletion of personal information unless separately disclosed.

10. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may contain links to manufacturer websites, payment services, social networks, shipping services, or other third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for their privacy, security, or content. Review the privacy policy of any third party before providing personal information.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for business and commercial users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

12. International Visitors

RF Direct is based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and process personal information under an applicable legal basis.
