Proxim SX3-1020A-US 5ghz Stratum X3 Connectorized
The Proxim Stratum X3 SX3-1020A-US is a high-performance 5 GHz outdoor wireless radio with external antenna connectors, designed for high-capacity point-to-point backhaul and point-to-multipoint wireless networks. Delivering throughput up to 1 Gbps, the Stratum X3 combines 2×2 MIMO performance, wide-channel operation, advanced modulation, rugged outdoor construction, and Proxim's WORP® wireless technology in a flexible platform engineered for demanding wireless deployments.
Operating in the 5 GHz band, the SX3-1020A-US provides high-capacity wireless connectivity for applications including WISP infrastructure, industrial networks, mining and construction sites, video surveillance, municipal connectivity, transportation systems, campus networks, and long-range wireless backhaul. Support for wide channel bandwidths and modulation up to 1024-QAM enables efficient use of available spectrum while delivering high throughput and reliable performance.
Connectorized for External Antennas
Unlike integrated-antenna Stratum X3 models, the SX3-1020A-US is a connectorized radio designed for use with external antennas. This allows installers to select the antenna gain, polarization, beamwidth, and radiation pattern best suited to the application.
The connectorized design makes the SX3-1020A-US particularly well suited for long-distance point-to-point links using high-gain dish antennas, as well as point-to-multipoint deployments using sector, horn, or other specialized antenna systems. This flexibility allows a single radio platform to be optimized for a wide range of link distances, coverage requirements, and deployment environments.
