GX80 10GBit mmWave (Link)

Proxim GX80™ is a high-capacity point-to-point wireless transport platform operating in the 80 GHz millimeter-wave E-band (71-76 GHz and 81-86 GHz). Utilizing up to 5 GHz of lightly licensed spectrum per direction in a frequency-division duplex (FDD) configuration, GX80 delivers up to 10 Gbps full-duplex throughput over multi-kilometer distances with deterministic ultra-low latency.

Designed as a transparent transport layer, GX80 preserves complete traffic integrity while enabling fixed, predictable system performance. User traffic passes directly between the 10 Gbps interface and the millimeter- wave modem, eliminating intermediate packet processing within the radio data path.

The management and data planes are physically and logically isolated, ensuring that networking, security, and policy enforcement remain fully controlled within the existing network infrastructure.
