Proxim GX60-0437-AK 4° Antenna Kit

The Proxim GX60-0437-AK is a high-gain directional antenna kit designed for the Proxim GX60 60 GHz wireless platform. With 37 dBi of antenna gain and a narrow 4° × 4° beam, the GX60-0437-AK converts the GX60 from its standard wide-area beam-forming configuration into a highly directional solution optimized for longer-distance, high-capacity point-to-point wireless links.

The compact 150 mm-class antenna provides significant directional gain while maintaining a small physical footprint of approximately 7 × 6 × 6 inches (18 × 15 × 15 cm). Its narrow radiation pattern helps concentrate RF energy toward the remote endpoint, improving link budget while reducing interference from neighboring 60 GHz systems.

The modular design attaches directly to the GX60 radio, allowing the same radio platform to be configured for applications ranging from short-range point-to-multipoint coverage to precision point-to-point backhaul. The GX60-0437-AK is particularly well suited for building-to-building connectivity, industrial networks, video surveillance backhaul, campus networks, temporary networks, and other applications requiring multi-gigabit wireless connectivity without deploying fiber.
