The Proxim 997-00075 SX3-202xA-64SU-UPG is a software license upgrade that enables compatible Proxim Stratum X3 6 GHz all-purpose radios to operate as full point-to-multipoint Base Stations supporting up to 64 Subscriber Units.
Standard SX3-2020A and SX3-2021A all-purpose radios can operate as a Subscriber Unit or as a Base Station supporting a single client. Adding the 997-00075 license expands the Base Station capability to support 1 to 64 connected Subscriber Units, allowing the same Stratum X3 hardware platform to be deployed as the foundation of a larger 6 GHz point-to-multipoint wireless network.
This software-based upgrade eliminates the need to replace existing radio hardware when expanding from a point-to-point or single-client deployment into a multi-client network.
