Proxim SX3-2020A-US 6Ghz Stratum X3 Connectorized
The Proxim Stratum X3 SX3-2020A-US is a high-performance 6 GHz outdoor wireless radio designed for point-to-point backhaul, point-to-multipoint subscriber applications, and flexible base station deployments. With 2×2 MIMO, wide-channel operation, and throughput up to 1 Gbps, the Stratum X3 provides a robust platform for building high-capacity wireless networks in the newly available 6 GHz spectrum.
Operating across 5.925–7.125 GHz, the SX3-2020A-US supports 20, 40, 80, and 160 MHz channel widths and modulation up to 1024-QAM. Proxim's proprietary WORP® wireless protocol is designed specifically for outdoor broadband networks, providing efficient bandwidth utilization and predictable performance for backhaul, video surveillance, WISP, industrial, municipal, transportation, and enterprise connectivity applications.
Unlike Stratum X3 models with integrated antennas, the SX3-2020A-US features two RP-SMA antenna connectors, allowing the radio to be paired with the directional or sector antenna best suited to the application. This makes it particularly well suited for custom point-to-point links, sectorized point-to-multipoint networks, and installations requiring specialized antenna patterns or gain.
The U.S. version includes Automatic Frequency Coordination (AFC) support and a GPS antenna for compliant standard-power operation in the 6 GHz band. Dynamic Channel Selection and Automatic Transmit Power Control further help optimize RF performance while maintaining configured EIRP limits.
